The Veteran Readiness & Review Program is the foundation of YASAV’s approach. This program is designed to help veterans prepare before submitting or resubmitting claims, attending exams, or pursuing review processes.
Through this program, veterans receive guidance on how to organize documentation, understand how the VA evaluates evidence, and identify gaps that may impact the outcome of their case.
This program is focused on preparation. Veterans are equipped with the knowledge and structure needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.

VA Disability Claim Preparation & Rating Increase Guidance
Guidance for veterans navigating denied claims, resubmissions, and strategies for increasing disability ratings, including working toward 100%.
YASAV provides education and preparation guidance for veterans navigating VA disability claims, including those who have been denied or are seeking an increase in their disability rating.
We help veterans understand how the VA evaluates claims, what evidence is required, and how to strengthen submissions before resubmitting or pursuing further review.
This includes guidance for veterans working toward higher disability ratings, including those seeking to reach 100%.

Discharge Review & Military Record Guidance
Preparation support for veterans seeking discharge upgrades or corrections to their military records.
YASAV provides education and preparation support for veterans seeking discharge upgrades or corrections to their military records.
We help veterans understand the review process, documentation expectations, and how to present their case for consideration by discharge review boards and correction boards.
This program is especially important for veterans with General, Other Than Honorable, or Bad Conduct discharges who are seeking clarity on their options.

Community Claims Clinics & Outreach
In-person and community-based events where veterans can receive guidance, ask questions, and better understand their VA claim or review process.
YASAV hosts community-based claims clinics and outreach events designed to provide veterans with access to guidance, education, and support in a group setting.
These clinics allow veterans to ask questions, review their situation, and gain a better understanding of how to move forward with their VA claims or discharge-related concerns.
Claims clinics are offered once a year as part of YASAV’s commitment to community engagement and accessibility.

Connection to trusted resources for mental health, housing, food assistance, and transportation support.
YASAV supports veterans by connecting them to trusted community resources that address essential needs such as mental health support, housing assistance, food resources, and transportation.
While YASAV focuses on education and preparation, we recognize that stability is critical. This program ensures veterans are connected to organizations and services that support their overall well-being.
YASAV provides guidance and connections to trusted community partners for these services.
