You Are Still A Veteran (YASAV) is a Veteran-led organization focused on preparing Veterans for review, recognition, and results within military and VA decision-making systems. We provide structured, disciplined support for Veterans navigating VA disability claims and military discharge reviews. Our work is grounded in readiness, documentation integrity, and a clear understanding of how boards and reviewers evaluate cases. YASAV exists to ensure Veterans are prepared to be reviewed, not overlooked.

YASAV is committed to action-based advocacy and preparation. We support Veterans who have been denied, misunderstood, or overlooked by helping them present clear, credible, review-ready submissions.
Our commitment includes:
Structured, individualized guidance for each Veteran

Current knowledge of VA regulations and discharge review processes
Long-term engagement rooted in trust and accountability At YASAV, preparation is the standard. Veterans are never sent forward unready.
At YASAV, preparation is the standard. Veterans are never sent forward unready.
Many veterans believe their options ended after a denied claim, a low disability rating, or a difficult discharge status. That is not always true.
Our goal is to help Veterans understand how the system works so they can prepare stronger claims, review decisions, and pursue the benefits they earned through service.
Clear, practical guidance to help Veterans understand review standards, documentation expectations and how to prepare for VA and discharge-related decisions.
"I was fortunate enough to experience Ms. Martin’s professionalism and expert diligence during my process of seeking guidance on the steps and helpful advice on achieving a favorable rating by numerous doctors evaluating my compensatory disabilities. I am grateful for her willingness to take her time to educate me while simultaneously insuring I understood what to expect and how to address the doctor’s questions to accurately convey what the VA recognizes when a veteran has earned compensation for the challenges of a long dedicated career of serving this country."
Charles Williams, MSG (R)- US Army
"Knowledgeable, professional, and empathetic. Those are the first three words that come to mind when I think about Marsha. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me with my claim increase. With her guidance, I went from 80% to 100% permanent and total in just four months. She is amazing! She deeply cares about us, and helping us get what we earned! 5 Star Rating!"
Julia Davis - US Army
"No one is as good as Marsha to walk you through the insane VA disability claim process. She coaches you at every step, explains the whole confusing process, and makes sure you get the maximum disability rating available. She is very knowledgeable and thorough and has been through it all. You get more than a coach - you get a trusted confidant and someone who will fight for you. She’s the best and has my highest recommendation."
CP, MARSCO - Marine
She knows the VA disability claim process and how to assist veterans in getting compensation. She understands the regulations and how to interpret the nuances of medical jargon. When I was ready to give up - she wouldn’t let me. I’m thankful for her perseverance and that I finally was awarded my rightful compensation with back pay. I highly recommend you allow Marsha to assist you with filing your VA disability claim. I’m so grateful I listened to her and did not give up."
